Theory
♦Elimination of unwanted hair by the means of the alexandrite laser is based on the mechanism of the thermokinetic selectivity, minimising the sensation of pain and any side effect. The laser emits a beam invisible to the human eye that penetrates in depth the skin without causing any damage. Only the hair follicle absorbs selectively the laser Ray, and through a process of intense heating at very high temperatures is caused the denaturation of the roots and the surrounding germinative cells that are responsible for the re-growth. The result is the permanent and progressive elimination of the hair without provoking any particular irritation or the insult of the skin.
